Lidia Sobieska – Frame Data

Lidia is a stance-heavy pressure character who lives in her opponent's head. She uses hit-confirmable single moves to read reactions, then flows into her four stances to keep the pressure on. The more heat you build, the deadlier her mix-ups and damage become.

Weak to: Step Right

Overview

Strong punishment and escalating stance pressure; forced transitions and some risky mixups.

Heat System

In heat, f,f+2 and WR+1 lose their power crush and parry counter options, making them much harder to stop. You can also press up while in any other stance to enter HAE, and at level 3 heat, HAE-boosted moves like HRS 1+2, CAT 4,3+4, and ff4,3 gain extra knockdown, combo, and wallsplat benefits.

Strengths

Good mix-ups in heat: Heat turns your stance options into a much more dangerous guessing game.Good damage in heat: More heat levels directly improve your combo damage and wall pressure.Good punishment: You have reliable tools to punish mistakes and launch whiffs.

Weaknesses & Counterplay

Weak tracking: Many of your key moves can be sidestepped, so you have to commit to reads.Risky frames: Several stance options are punishable on block, so you can't press blindly.
Game Plan
Hit-confirm a single move, then read how the opponent reacts before committing further.Use HRS as your core stance and transition into WLF when the opponent starts respecting you.In heat, press up from HRS, CAT, or WLF to enter HAE and force mix-ups.Don't press after a blocked HRS 1 — several stance options are unsafe on block.
Stances
HRS (Horse) — enter: ff+2 or db+3 — Primary mix-up stance. HRS 1 is a high power crush wallsplat that is very plus on hit and auto-transitions; HRS 2 is a mid heat engager; HRS 3 is a safe homing mid for anti-low; HRS 4 is a +8 mid that goes into WLF; HRS 1+2 is a low CH launcher.CAT (Cat) — enter: df+2 or 1,2,2 — Mix-up stance with safe mid CAT 1, delayed high string CAT 2, high heat engager CAT 3, low CH launcher CAT 4 that can become safe in heat, and tracking mid CAT 1+2.WLF (Stalking Wolf) — enter: From HRS or CAT transitions — Stance for opponents who respect Lidia. WLF 1 is a plus mid with a hold extension, WLF 2 is a fast wallsplat mid, WLF 3 is a safe mid string, and WLF 4 is a low option.HAE (Heaven and Earth) — enter: In heat, press up while in another stance — Heat-only stance with HAE 1 as a mid launcher with power crush, HAE 2 as a +6 mid, and HAE 1+2 as a homing high unblockable for mix-ups.
